Estelle Mass nee Witt, 95, beloved wife of the late Ben; loving mother of Floyd (Pam) Mandell and Bobbe Mandell; cherished Grandma of Chad (Christina) Mandell, Craig (Emily) Mandell, Adam (Alyssa) Goldwater and Jake Goldwater; adored great grandmother of Ethan, Blake, Ryan, Aubrey, Owen, Miriam Sheva and Azriel Shalom; dear sister of David (the late Sandra) Witt; fond aunt of David (Allison) Witt, Jr. Private service. I have been extremely close friends with Mrs. Mass’s son Floyd in high school, college, and all throughout our lives. I spent as much time at Floyd’s house as my own and ate dinner there several nights a week! I have the warmest memories of Estelle. She treated me like a son, showing a real interest in my life. She was warm, engaging, and caring.
To this very day, I can hear her voice asking me if I wanted more ribs or french fries.
She was a woman of no pretenses, no affectations. She had a dignity about her. I will never forget her.
